Greetings from Uganda, East Africa. Over the course of the last year, we had an amazing opportunity to train in the fundamentals of dental implantology at the Pan Dental academy, under the auspices and material support of minec and the Megagen implant system.

In my case work up, working wiith a team of seasoned practitioners including a radiologist and experienced implantologist (Dr. Tom Mutyabule), Dr. Dunstan Kalanzi and Dr. Muhammad Mbabali lecturers of prosthodontics  and periodontology respectively at Makerere University Dental School, we encountered a rather peculiar occurrence of retrograde implantitis. Shared here are the details of the case and its management.
